47336 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Will the Minister publish any demographic breakdown of GP consultation times, patient access rates, and number of visits per patient under the latest funding arrangement with Government, and if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand has recently published quarter four data on selected primary care indicators, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare. As the Member will be aware, I have also announced a primary care health target, which will measure access to general practice and help reduce wait times for patients.
