47335 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What independent evaluation, if any, will be undertaken of the effect of performance-based capitation on patient experience, continuity of care, and health outcomes?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the impact of performance-based capitation on patients will be measured through existing measures that are well validated. As the Member will be aware, I have also announced that I intend to introduce a new primary care health target which will measure timely access to general practice as part of our focus on putting patients first.
