Hon Judith Collins: I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. A number of these items relate jointly to my portfolios as Minister Responsible for the NZSIS, and Minister Responsible for the GCSB. As Minister Responsible for the NZSIS, I can confirm I received the following item of written advice: New Zealand's Security Threat Environment 2024 (2 August 2024) In addition, I can confirm I received the following items as the responsible Minister for both the GCSB and the NZSIS: Ministerial Satisfaction Questionnaires for NZSIS and GCSB 2023/24 (29 July 2024) Report on Upcoming Issues (1 August 2024) There is a longstanding precedent around not confirming or denying matters which may be of interest to the intelligence agencies. It is not in the public interest to disclose any other advice I may or may not have received in these portfolios.
