Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the Health Navigator Charitable Trust, who also deliver the Healthify website, are updating the current Self-Management Support guidance to support Māori and Pacific NGOs to work with whānau with chronic conditions. The team has been holding focus groups and interviews with patients and healthcare professionals to inform the guidance, which is due to be available at end of this month. I am further advised that Health New Zealand is developing a communications and engagement plan to ensure the guidance is effectively implemented.
