46882 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Establish national strategic networks in the priority areas of: Māuiuitanga taumaha | People living with chronic health conditions’ under section 3.1 ‘Transition to transformation’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that work on establishing national strategic networks was not progressed during this quarter, as they have been replaced with Strategic Design Networks that target life courses. I am further advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to prepare for Phase 2 of the Aged Care Funding and Service Models Review. Phase 2 of the Review included extensive national stakeholder engagement.
