Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Implement national specialist networks to support specialist, planned and urgent care access and outcomes across Aotearoa’ under section 3.1 ‘Transition to transformation’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, the Eye Health, Radiology, and Infection Services networks were established. I am further advised that during the quarter, expressions of interest went out for Maternity, Diabetes, Mental Health & Addiction, and Oral Health co-leads.
