46876 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Partner with HQSC and clinical leaders across the system to ensure that quality and safety is reflected in performance monitoring, in the delivery of Te Pae Tata and in the delivery of all services’ under section 3.1 ‘Transition to transformation’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, quality and safety measures have been developed and reported using a digital tool (national Qlik app). The quality and safety measures are reported to the National Clinical Governance Group (NCGG) and the Board's Clinical Quality Assurance Committee. The NCGG is responsible for the development of a measures framework and digital reporting system. Health NZ is leading the development of the framework and a reporting system with cascading measures on behalf of the NCGG.
