Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Negotiate a community pharmacy services agreement to enable improved integration of clinical services, improvements to access and outcomes, and to drive equity gains’ under section 3.3 ‘Stronger primary and community care’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, planning for a pharmacy development programme continued. Part of that work will include development of a new community pharmacy services agreement.
