46850 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Improve digital access to primary care as an option to improve access and choice, including virtual after-hours and telehealth, with a focus on rural communities’ under section 3.7 ‘Strengthening our system enablers’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter several initiatives were underway to promote digital enablement within the wider health workforce, including launches of a revised telehealth e-learning module and clinical triage toolkit, and the integration of Telehealth Patient Feedback into the national survey platform through the Health Quality and Safety Commission. I also refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 46862 (2024) for further information.
