Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Develop partnerships with other government sectors to align with and leverage off large capital delivery programmes in other sectors’ under section 3.7 ‘Strengthening our system enablers’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand participated in a Capital-Intensive Agency Asset Management Working Group. Health NZ was also part of the Construction Sector Accord which was the primary channel for agency engagement and progress on this work is ongoing. I am further advised that Health NZ will establish a framework for sharing lessons learnt.
