Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘With Iwi Māori and other stakeholders, co-design a framework for Te Whatu Ora’s approach to climate change, service resilience and environmental sustainability’ under section 3.7.4 ‘Action on climate change’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised this action was not progressed by Health New Zealand during the January to March 2024 quarter. Health NZ is considering what framework is necessary to support its work and, once better determined, what approach for development is appropriate.
