46829 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Support Pacific communities and providers to be active partners in the establishment of localities’ under section 4.2 ‘Pacific Health’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand’s Pacific Health Group continued to engage, support, and listen to community and provider voices via community gatherings, local engagements, and provider-led events. The Pacific Health group also continued to actively partner with Pacific providers and Pacific communities to advocate for their health and well-being needs.
