Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Commission research to support development of evidence-based care pathways and responsive models in priority clinical areas, including maternity and early years care, long-term conditions and mental health services’ under section 4.2 ‘Pacific Health’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand’s Pacific Health Pipeline work programme was approved. The Pipeline focuses on four Pacific health priorities endorsed by the National Pacific Health Senate Fatu Fono Ola.
