46816 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Had all staff completed their Te Waharoa, Whakamana Tangata and STAR training at Oranga Tamariki's Te Maioha o Parekarangi youth justice facility between 1 January and 31 July 2025; if not, why?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that Oranga Tamariki data shows all new starters at Te Maioha o Parekarangi between 1 January and 31 July 2025 completed their training, with the exception of a minority who missed Whakamana Tangata training due to illness or scheduling conflicts and are waiting to be rescheduled.
