Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that the expenditure for Winter Energy Payment (WEP) for 2023/24 is $536.531 million. WEP rates are $31.82 a week for couples, and people with dependent children and $20.46 a week for single people with no dependent children.
