46727 (2024). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Associate Minister of Health: Further to 44191 (2024), how many of the estimated 175,000 people who would benefit from the $604 million funding boost in the first 12-month period are Māori, if any?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that Pharmac estimates the number of Māori who would be eligible for new treatments for cancer and other medicines to be approximately in line with the proportion of Māori in the general population in New Zealand.
