46650 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Transport: What is the budget, if any, on the Minister's department's if any, on the carbon neutral government programme for this current financial year (1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025)?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that in 2024/25 financial year, Maritime NZ has budgeted up to $20,000 on the following activities relating to the Carbon Neutral Government Programme: • Audit and certification costs for verifying the inventory to international standard • Participating in the Toitū Envirocare carbonreduce programme including provision of software. I am advised that under the Crown Entities Act, the Transport Accident Investigation Commission is not required to report against the carbon neutral government programme.
