46632 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: Was Rt Hon Bill English given an exemption to the Cabinet Fees Framework when they were appointed as the Head of the review into Kainga Ora; if so, by what percentage are they being paid above the Cabinet Fees Framework?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Minister of Finance and Minister of Housing established an independent review of Kāinga Ora operations under Section 132 of the Crown Entities Act 2004. Rt Hon Sir Bill English was paid a daily rate of $2,500 per day. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development published the daily rate for the reviewers and the total cost.
