Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has the Ministry of Health advised on the benefits, if any, of HIV screening or treatment of Recognised Seasonal Employer workers from high prevalence countries subsequent to the removal of the immigration screening required, if so, what is the title and date of the document that contains that advice?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised, no. As the Member will be aware, HIV treatment is free for everyone in New Zealand, including RSE workers.
