46569 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the average wait time for a first specialist appointment in a clinical genetic service, broken down by district?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that this specific retrospective data, as requested by the Member, is not currently held centrally in an easily reportable format by Health New Zealand. I do not consider it to be in the public interest to divert staff from essential services to undertake a substantial collation exercise across districts.
