46534 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Local Government: What analysis, if any, has been undertaken of the fiscal impact of the new Fees Framework, in effect since 1 July 2025, on any entities within the Minister’s portfolio, and what was the estimated annual cost?

Hon Simon Watts: There is likely to be no fiscal impact of any fees increases, as fees are funded from existing baselines. If the Authority did not have the ability to increase fees within existing baselines, I would not have agreed to an increase.
