46531 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Vocational Education: When, if ever, will the Te Pukenga contingency fund be drawn upon to help re-establish regional institutes of technology and polytechnics?

Hon Penny Simmonds: No decisions have been made on the specific use of the Te Pūkenga disestablishment and transition contingency. However, the new vocational education and training network will be stood up on 1 January 2026.
