46501 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Local Government: Which appointments, if any, within the Minister’s portfolio have been made under the new Fees Framework since 1 July 2025, and what additional costs have been incurred compared to the 2022 framework?

Hon Simon Watts: Appointments to the Water Services Authority – Taumata Arowai Board were made effective from the end of September 2025. The Fees Framework applies to all members. As these appointments have just been finalised, no additional costs have been incurred. However, fees for members will go from $15,000 a year to $25,800 a year. The fee for the Chair will go from $30,000 to $51,600 a year.
