Hon Chris Bishop: The Panel Convener is paid a daily rate of $4,500, and the Assistant Conveners are paid a daily rate of $4,000. Conveners are paid from either fast-track application fees, or the fast-track levy. The cost is fiscally neutral to the Crown.
