Camilla Belich to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How have any fee increases approved under the new Fees Framework since 1 July 2025 been funded for entities within the Minister’s portfolio, and what impact, if any, has this had on service delivery or operational budgets?

Hon Louise Upston: Fee increases approved under the Cabinet Fees Framework are expected to be funded within existing baselines. Fee increases will not impact on service delivery. I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that Board fees’ increases have been approved for one Crown entity and one external reference group under the Cabinet Fees Framework since 1 July 2025. The fees are funded from the entity’s revenue, and the increase is not expected to have any impact on service delivery or operational budgets.
