46363 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: What is the budget, if any, on the Minister's department's if any, on the carbon neutral government programme for this current financial year (1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025)?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education’s budget details for the current financial year are still under consideration and so specific details cannot be provided at this time. I am advised that in 2024/25, the Education Review Office has budgeted $12,500 for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme. The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) does not budget separately for the Carbon Neutral Government programme. NZQA has had no expenditure on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme so far in the 2024/2025 financial year but expect expenditure to be similar to the previous financial year.
