46360 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Development: What was the budget and how much was spent, if any, on the Minister's department's if any, on the carbon neutral government programme from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024?

Hon Melissa Lee: I am advised that for the 23/24 financial year, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment budgeted $40,000 for Carbon Neutral Government Programme related measurement, reporting and audit. MBIE spent $26,938 of this. This includes the implementation of a sustainability and emissions reporting and analytics platform which supports the Carbon Neutral Government Programme as well as providing wider sustainability benefits.
