46340 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: What was the budget and how much was spent, if any, on the Minister's department's if any, on the carbon neutral government programme from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the member to the WPQ 13666 (2024), which provides budget allocations for the carbon neutral government programme. I am advised that actual capital expenditure for the 2023/24 financial year, as at 30 June 2024, included the following initiatives: • $10.31m capital spend for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, • $2.3m capital spend for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and • $0.28m operating spend for boiler replacement feasibility studies.
