46337 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Justice: How have any fee increases approved under the new Fees Framework since 1 July 2025 been funded for entities within the Minister’s portfolio, and what impact, if any, has this had on service delivery or operational budgets?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The six Crown entities in the Justice portfolio are Independent Crown Entities (ICEs). Remuneration for board members of ICEs is set by the Remuneration Authority, rather than the Cabinet Fees Framework. Any fee increases are expected to be funded within existing baselines and are not expected to impact on service delivery.
