46329 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Development: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2024 broken down by job title and salary band range?

Hon Melissa Lee: I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) had 6196.5 FTE as at 1 July 2024. Prior to savings initiatives being implemented (as at 30 December 2023) MBIE employed 6,650.3 FTE. Due to the large number of positions, I have referred your request for a breakdown of FTEs by job title and salary band range to MBIE to respond to under the Official Information Act 1982. You can expect a response from MBIE directly in due course.
