46314 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: Which appointments, if any, within the Minister’s portfolio have been made under the new Fees Framework since 1 July 2025, and what additional costs have been incurred compared to the 2022 framework?

Hon Chris Bishop: Five appointments have been made to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development’s Housing Investment Advisory Group. This Group is newly established. Five appointments have been made to the Ministry’s Housing Expert Advisory Group, for a year from August 2025. Following the recent review of the Cabinet Fees Framework, fees for this Group increased by 30 percent, in line with the Group’s category and level. Appointments under the Cabinet Fees Framework, effective from 1 July 2025, are managed by entities within the Minister’s portfolio in accordance with Cabinet Office Circular CO (25) 2 and Cabinet Manual. If there are additional costs, they are expected to be met within existing baselines. Information on board remuneration is available within entities’ annual reports, where comparative costs can be reviewed.
