46290 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Finance: What monitoring or evaluation, if any, is planned to assess whether board fees set under the new Fees Framework have improved governance outcomes in the Minister’s portfolio, and how will this be reported to Parliament, if at all?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Cabinet Fees Framework and the Crown Company Fees Methodology are both designed to strengthen governance by supporting the appointment of high-calibre board members. Entities within my Ministerial portfolio covered under both methodologies are expected to demonstrate improved governance and performance. Monitoring of these outcomes occurs through annual accountability documents, including Statements of Performance Expectations and annual reports, which are reported in Parliament.
