46284 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: How many, if any, contact hours a week are social workers expected to spend with each individual participant on the pilot military-style academy?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised the Military-style Academy Pilot has two fulltime, onsite social workers who will be with the young people daily. Each young person also has community-based social workers from their home region, who are expected to have regular and on-going contact with the young people via phone, video conferencing and in person visits. The total contact hours for each young person will vary depending on their needs.
