46279 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Education: What advice, if any, has the Minister received on trade-offs between applying higher board fees under the new Fees Framework and maintaining frontline services or staff resourcing in their portfolio areas?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have not yet received any advice on board fee increases, or on monitoring or evaluation of higher fees. In line with Cabinet’s decisions, a review of each board’s current fees will be undertaken, and Ministers will consider and make decisions on proposals for fee increases. This is also my response to written questions 46281 (2025) and 46312 (2025).
