46227 (2025). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Will the Minister consider amending the Online Casino Gambling Bill to require a proportion of online casino-type gambling profits to be ringfenced for community and sporting grants, if not, why not?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Cabinet has previously agreed to not require online casino gambling operators to return funding to the community. I acknowledge that there have been public submissions on this matter as part of the Select Committee process, and I am open to receiving further advice.
