46167 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (January to March 2024) to ‘Establish a national terminology service’ under ‘Horizon One’ of the Data and Information Strategy for Health and Disability: Roadmap 2021-2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 9915 (2024). I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, the NZ Health Terminology Service added code sets for the standard reporting of laboratory test results. I am further advised that during the quarter, Health New Zealand hosted a well-attended 'connectathon' and provided education on the service to health software vendors.
