46135 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to WPQ 5644, what progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (January to March 2024) on health promotion work programmes concerning 'Health Resources'?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand undertook the following work regarding health resources: • Actively maintained the HealthEd catalogue, and collaborated with content owners to review and update resources, to ensure they meet the evolving needs of health promotion and education. • Added and updated immunisation and bowel, breast, and cervical screening resources (including resources for rainbow communities) on HealthEd.govt.nz. • Reprinted screening resources. • Facilitated new or updated translations of meningococcal resource into Pacific languages • Made the translated resources available on HealthEd.govt.nz • Updated guidelines for regional authorised providers who distribute health education resources • Regularly reprinted health resources from HealthEd catalogue, ensuring they were current and readily available.
