Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Build a platform with Whaikaha/Ministry of Disabled People to include Tāngata whaikaha/ Disabled people voices in the design, delivery and performance of the health system’ under section 1.1 ‘Valuing the voices of consumers and whanau’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, work began on a project focused on disability community engagement to help identify effective ways for Health New Zealand to engage in order for the community to assist with designing services.
