46118 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Increase the number of Māori, Pacific and Tāngata whaikaha | Disabled people in leadership and decision-making roles across the system’ under section 1.3 ‘Developing an inclusive leadership and culture’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that there are no formal processes in place to identify the number of disabled people in leadership roles across Health New Zealand. However, I am further advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, one new Senior Disability Lead with a connection to the disabled community joined Health NZ.
