46113 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Implement a nationally consistent system of data capture, analytics and intelligence that supports the use of health intelligence and insights to ensure equity of access and outcomes from all health services across Aotearoa’ under section 1.4 ‘Strengthening the use of health insights and intelligence’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, the completion and timeliness of data in Rapid National Automation Datasets improved in preparation to support work to meet the Health Targets. I am further advised that Rapid National Automation Datasets now offer up-to-date operational insights, with enhanced data quality for reliable internal signals on ED, inpatient, theatre utilization, waitlists, and nursing resources. These datasets are automatically updated daily in a central repository for data access and reporting.
