46106 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Design and commission Te Ao Māori, whānau-centred and Pacific whānaucentred integrated maternity and early years services’ under section 2.2 ‘Kahu Taurima | Maternity and early years’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand commissioned 34 Hauora Māori partners to provide a Te Ao Māori service delivery model of care for whānau, along with 10 initiatives that were whānau-centred, across different areas of health. In addition, Te Ao Māori services and whānau-centred care continued to be delivered during the quarter.
