46105 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to ‘Redesign the universal model of care, working with LMCs and Well Child Tamariki Ora providers to implement a more flexible and responsive model’ under section 2.2 ‘Kahu Taurima | Maternity and early years’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, procurement was completed for six prototype partners to test the new child growth and development clinical schedule, which will replace the Well Child schedule. Prototype testing will inform the future development and finalisation of the new schedule.
I am also advised that discovery work, including a literature scan and whānau insights collation report, were developed during the quarter to inform advice on the Maternity Components of Care.
