46088 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter (January to March 2024) to implement the recommendation ‘Expand Facilities for telehealth’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, the rural clinical telehealth service delivered by Ka Ora Telecare continued to expand across New Zealand. By 31 March 2024, 41% of rural practices (95 of 230) had signed up for the service. During the quarter, almost 5,000 clinical interactions were delivered through this service.
