46001 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is a conflict-of-interest management regime in place for the Commissioner of Health New Zealand, if so, who is responsible for monitoring it?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that there is a conflict-of-interest management regime in place, and Health NZ is responsible for monitoring it. I am further advised that if there was a matter that impacted Lester Levy's appointment as Commissioner, the Ministry of Health would become involved.
