45988 (2024). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: As of 29 July 2024, does the Minister believe protecting children online is a top priority for her and if not, why not?

Hon Brooke van Velden: My priority is on protecting children from illegal content online such as child sexual exploitation material. I support the work of the Department of Internal Affairs to prosecute possessors of this material and to upgrade the Digital Child Exploitation Filter System which prevents children from being exposed to this material.
