45974 (2024). Lan Pham to the Minister of Finance: Will agencies be directed to include gender analysis as part of assessing distributional impacts for Budget 2025?

Hon Nicola Willis: Yes, in the sense that when assessing whether a Budget initiative provides value for money, agencies will be directed to consider how the initiative differently or disproportionately impacts different types of New Zealanders. This includes any potential gender impacts.
