45851 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: On what date was the final decision made to remove Commerce from the senior secondary school Subject List released on 11 September 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: Commerce has not been removed. It has been renamed to Business and Economics, in the senior secondary subjects released on 11 September 2025, and remains a subject at Year 11. This name change recognises that Accounting is a separate subject at Year 11.
