Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services: Further to his answer to written question 40979 (2025), how many times since November 2023 has Ministerial Services supported the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff to bring matters to the Minister's attention in relation to the conduct or behaviour of Ministers?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that they do not centrally record this information, however where relevant all matters of conduct and behaviour are notified to my Chief of Staff by Ministerial Services. Ministerial Services also has robust established processes to address issues appropriately if and when they arise, and ensure staff are well supported and are committed to ensuring Minister’s Offices maintain a respectful and professional work environment for all staff.
