45568 (2025). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Education: Was Agricultural and Horticultural Science removed as a senior secondary school subject in the new subject list released on 11 September 2025; if so, what was the rationale?

Hon Erica Stanford: Yes. The Phase 5 subject list released on 11 September did not have a stand-alone subject for Agricultural and Horticultural Science. The learning from agricultural and horticultural science was intended to be included under the industry-led Primary Industry subject.
