45496 (2025). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Education: What does the Minister believe constitutes adequate consultation, particularly with agricultural educators, regarding the exclusion of agricultural subjects on the Years 11-13 Subjects for the National Curriculum released on 11 September 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education’s (the Ministry) consultation on the Phase | Tūārere 5 curriculum subjects was informed by engagement with the Ministry Coherence Group and the NCEA Professional Advisory Group, followed by targeted consultation with subject associations. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 45497, 45498, 45561, and 45567 (2025).
